Welcome to my office… Well, kind of. Yes, today I am at Starbucks. I have decided to get out to do some SEO work to get a breath of fresh air. See, I’m not just doing SEO; I’m strategically planning how the actions I am taking on other people’s websites will affect their traffic. This is what is important. When people search “Dallas video production” are they looking for someone who will record a video for them or are they looking for videos that have been produced in Dallas? These questions are what I have to face every day as I create a targeted campaign that produces not just traffic to a website but leads.
These are the type of results that we like to see. These are the types of results that Impyre’s clients like to see. This is why we have such great retention rates for clients. They want us to continue to not just do SEO work for them but they want us to completely manage their online campaign. Do other companies do this? I have no clue.
But I do know that this should be an essential aspect to any SEO company’s process. No one campaign is a cookie cutter campaign. Each campaign is like baking a specialty cake specifically designed to appeal to the client. There have been several campaigns where I have literally completely changed the direction of the campaign because, sure, we were generating a lot of traffic to the website but the bounce rates were extremely high and certain terms that I thought would be perfect for the company have not generated any leads. So I began looking more in depth to the keywords I was targeting. I started choosing long tail keywords that had less search volume but were more specialized towards the companies I was working with. Bingo! All of a sudden the average time on the website jumped from nearly 1:33 to over 6 minutes.
